Do you need help with learning to:
- Cook
- Making clothes
- Repairing clothes
- Growing food
- Homemade cleaning products
- Homemade skin care products
We will be running regular workshops in the near future covering these topics. Let us know what else you would like to learn. Workshops are free to Community Service card holders.
What can you do?
- We are looking for Super Grans to mentor in our community. Contact us for a chat; we would love to hear from you.
- We are looking for keen knitters who would like to knit squares for blankets.
100 babies a year are born in Katikati: we are on a mission to provide Plunket with 100 blankets in our first year of operation. These blankets will go in to Plunket’s “Welcome Home Baby” packs.
Use 8 ply yarn and 4.5 mm (or size 7) needles, cast on 33 stitches and knit until square. Squares can be delivered to 6 Kea Street, Katikati or we can collect.
